"I had the honor to attend the NACUFS (National Association of College and University Food Services) Regional Conference where Kyle Coon was the Closing Keynote Speaker. I can honestly say he is truly inspiring. His story as a Paralympic athlete is one of resilience, determination, and triumph over adversity. Kyle's ability to overcome his challenges and achieve great success as a visually impaired athlete is a testament to his strength of character and unwavering commitment to his goals. His speaking style is engaging and dynamic, and he has a unique ability to connect with his audience on a personal level. He shares his experiences with humor, humility, and honesty, and his message of perseverance, teamwork, and self-belief resonates with everyone who hears him speak. Kyle's message is clear: anything is possible if you're willing to work hard and believe in yourself. He is a true role model for anyone who wants to overcome adversity and achieve their dreams, and I would highly recommend him as a keynote speaker for any event."
- Brian Knutson, Director, Food & Nutrition, United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee
"Endurance sports are filled with tough men and women. To be competitive requires biblical levels of suffering. Mountaineer Nims Purja, Cyclist Marianne Vos, and Ultra Runner David Goggins are amongst the toughest men and women to have graced the earth. However, none of them hold a candle to Paralympian Kyle Coon. Kyle has been completely blind since he was 7-years old, yet he doesn’t let his blindness shackle him. He’s summited summitted some of the world’s highest peaks and is a professional triathlete. He was the first blind athlete to break 11 hours for an Ironman 140.6. Kyle shares his inspirational story with candor, humor, humility, and honesty. Any audience will leave his presentation realizing that they can do more."
- Scott Mercier, ’92 Olympic Cyclist, Merrill Lynch
"Kyle’s presentation to our group was amazing. Being a group of pediatric health care workers, Kyle’s story was inspiring and very close to home. Many of our Associates loved the comparison of teamwork on climbing a mountain compared to teamwork at work. Kyle is inspiring and we look forward to working with him in the future."
