Simple Swaps: To Give Or Not To Give?

If you’re ever about to ask someone to donate a specific sum of money, try swapping the ‘would you give…?’ to ‘would you consider giving…?’

What difference does this make? According to Marc, it prevents a take-it-or-leave-it situation. By asking for them to consider, you aren’t putting the donor on the spot or raising their defenses.
