What is your role in EWTS?
I have the privilege of contributing to the impact of EWTS by providing support in executive event coordination, strategic event management, media production, and brand expansion through merchandise and apparel creation and design. We adore the people we get to serve through the work of EWTS and are always ideating around how we can create more value through the various outlets of the company.
What do you like most about your role?
I love the combination of creativity and logistical planning. It hits a sweet spot for me I have rarely had the opportunity to experience professionally. At EWTS, we are led in a way that gives space to explore and build on our skillsets while also being challenged to grow and develop new areas of proficiency and expertise. It’s a rare gift I am grateful for.
What are your favorite magic words and why?
“Just Imagine” is one of my favorite magic words because of how it has the possibility of being an intentional access point of hope and opportunity. For the individuals involved it becomes an exercise of visualization and conception of what could be. Too often we fixate on what is directly before us, when with the exploration sparked by these words, we are opened up to the playful part within us that may have gone dormant as a result of the rigors of life.
What is an interesting fact about you that people may not know?
Language is my favorite art form and fashion is a quiet obsession.
What is your favorite famous quote that you live by?
There are two quotes I try to keep front of mind to frame my postures in life. The first is “to be excellent of heart” and the second is “you are both a work of art and an artist at work.” The first quote I read a long time ago and has stayed with me. The second is by Erwin Raphael McManus, a contemporary whose life and work I greatly admire.
