What is your role in EWTS?
My goal is to make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so you can focus on your journey as a Guide. I support the day-to-day operations of the Guide community, ensuring information is accurate, systems are up to date, and events and resources are organised and easy to access.
From onboarding through to ongoing engagement, I help maintain the structure that supports your experience. Whether it’s coordinating details, supporting community activity, or creating simple branded resources, I’m here to make things seamless so you can focus on growing your impact.
What do you like most about your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is connecting with a supportive, growth-focused community. I enjoy the variety in my work, from welcoming and onboarding new Guides to staying connected with existing members, helping create a positive experience where everyone can grow together.
What are your favorite magic words and why?
If … then – this is one of my favourite magic phrases because it feels really familiar, as it’s something many of us grew up hearing. As children, we were taught to understand things through cause and effect if this happens, then that follows, so it taps into a way of thinking we already have. Because of that, it doesn’t overcomplicate the message and makes it easy for people to follow.
Just imagine – This is the adult version of once upon a time so programs us to be more open to the story about to be told. This phrase works because it guides someone into a mental experience before they’ve made a decision. Instead of pushing or persuading directly, you’re helping them feel the outcome.
What is an interesting fact about you that people may not know?
I’ve been on the fastest zip line in the world in North Wales, UK, as well as the longest and highest zip lines in Latin America in Costa Rica.
What is your favorite famous quote that you live by?
Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.
